Practice: Adjectives

In English, adjectives go BEFORE the noun, not after like in Spanish ('una casa blanca').

The adjective order is fixed: Opinion(lovely), Size, Age, Origin. Unlike in Spanish, where adjectives can follow any order.

After linking verbs (be, seem, taste, look, feel), use ADJECTIVE 'delicious', not adverb 'deliciously'. In Spanish, you might use 'deliciosamente' but in English, we say 'delicious'.

We use 'white' to describe the color of something. 'Whitey' and 'whiten' are not correct forms of the adjective.

After linking verbs (be, seem, taste, look, feel), use ADJECTIVE 'delicious', not adverb 'deliciously' or noun 'deliciousness'.

We use 'lovely' as an opinion adjective before other adjectives. 'Love' is a noun or a verb, and 'loving' is a present participle or an adjective that needs a different context.
