After 'suggest that', use base form: LEAVE. No -s for third person. Spanish: 'Sugiero que él salga temprano para la reunión.'

After 'insist that', use the base form BE. Spanish: 'Insisten que estemos a tiempo para el concierto.'

'If I WERE' is subjunctive (hypothetical). Formal = were, informal = was. Spanish: 'Si yo fuera tú, estudiaría más.'

'I wish I WERE' is subjunctive. Use 'were' not 'was'. Spanish: 'Ella desea ser más alta.'

After 'demand that', use base form: GO. Spanish: 'Exijo que ella vaya a su habitación.'

After 'suggest that', use base form: BE. Spanish: 'Él sugiere que estemos callados.'
